About InterLink Web Works

InterLink Web Works specializes in developing custom web sites that put control of the web site in the hands of the site owner. Our design approach allows non-technical people to manage a web site using only a computer equipped with a browser and an Internet connection.

The Chief Technologist, Joe Ebel, has been working with computers and electronics throughout his career. With US Naval training in electronics, experience in telephony with AT&T Long Lines Division, followed by two years of core courses in Physics and Microelectronics at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, Joe began working as an electronics engineer in a manufacturing environment. Twelve years with Joerns Healthcare, a division of Sunrise Medical, Inc., a multi-national corporation, had Joe wearing many hats, including Project Engineer, Systems Analyst, PC Specialist, CAD Administrator and in-house technology teacher. He has experience writing manuals for non-technicians and has taught technical courses in electronics and electricity in Wisconsin Vocational Technical and Adult Education classes, web development at AB Tech in Asheville, North Carolina, and computer and office applications for Sunrise Medical, Inc. office personnel. He is a member of American Mensa.

He got his first computer back before the PC was invented and began programming a Burroughs mini computer at UW-SP. He has been creating web sites for over fifteen years and most recently saw the wisdom of developing web sites using a Content Management System. He finds it gratifying to see his clients take ownership of their sites and keep them current and dynamic without needing highly skilled webmasters.
